For 11 years running, Celebrate The Season has brought families and the community together. This year, it returns once again to bring warmth and the fun of the holiday season to the Lowcountry. In its tenth year, Celebrate The Season was primed to fly past the $1-million mark in funds raised to support Berkeley County-area charitable organizations. With a plan developed specifically to keep volunteers and attendees safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the show will indeed go on, highlighted by the Holiday Lights Driving Tour, a mile-long beacon of brilliance that is expected to attract 30,000 visitors.
Santee Cooper’s Celebrate the Season, the monthlong charitable holiday festival, is back with all the splendor and cheer guests have come to expect. Presented by Berkeley Electric Cooperative, the colorful Holiday Lights Driving Tour and accompanying Weekend Holiday Fairs are affordable, wholesome fun for the entire family.
